Translation Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for the translation of all documents from English into German. Coordinates the localization team for an efficient and rapid process of translation and adaptation of BitDefender materials into other languages.
JOB RESPONSABILITIES:
· Translating all necessary documents from English to German
· Defining the Translation team's strategy, procedures and work tools
· Liaising with external translation agencies: negotiating deadlines, accommodating last minute adjustments, establishing the necessary resources, etc.
· Supervising all the marketing material translations requested to the Translation team
· Offering direct support to the other company teams for the translation of all the necessary materials
· Ensuring that the deadlines undertaken by the Translation team or by Translations agencies are observed.
REQUESTS:
· Proficient in German and English. Language Certificates are considered a plus.
· University graduate
· Hands-on experience in leading complex translation projects. A previous job in a localization or translation agency is a plus.
· Project management skills
· Ability to assimilate and synthesize technical information (IT domain)
· Characterized by drive and focus on details
